Open Faculty Positions Focused on Artificial Intelligence Approaches to Radiological Imaging Stanford University
The Department of Radiology at Stanford School of Medicine is recruiting a full-time faculty member at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to join the Integrative Biomedical Imaging Informatics at Stanford (IBIIS) Division. IBIIS faculty focus on pioneering, translating, teaching and disseminating methods in data science that integrate imaging, clinical, and -omics data to better understand the molecular mechanisms of diseases and to improve the accuracy and efficiency of clinical care. Recognizing that Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques, which are likely to be a major focus of this effort, require large sets of integrated imaging, clinical, and outcomes data, the Stanford University School of Medicine has developed and made available a research data warehouse, which includes clinical images and linked data from the electronic medical record, to enable discovery of new relationships between imaging findings and clinical, histological, and genomic manifestations of health and disease.

Candidates should have an MD or MD/PhD degree(s) or equivalent, must be board-certified in diagnostic radiology or equivalent training, have completed a formal fellowship in body or abdominal imaging or a related sub-specialty, and, if applicable, have shown an outstanding track record of research productivity. Research can include all aspects of body imaging, including clinical, translational, or basic science, as well as computational science and artificial intelligence.

The Department of Radiology at Stanford School of Medicine is searching for a Division Chief of Interventional Radiology. This full-time faculty appointment will be in the University Medical Line or University Tenure Line at the Associate or Full Professor level. Exceptional leadership and administrative skills are also required. The applicant must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree(s) or equivalent, be board-certified in diagnostic radiology, and have completed a formal fellowship in interventional radiology or equivalent training.
